Welcome to Abbey Yachts

Abbey Yachts was formed by Tony Staton-Bevan in 1978 and is based near Lymington on the South Coast of England.

The business has been successful by providing a professional, yet personal service and now has a faithful client base. There has never been an attempt to be a "Jack of all Trades", instead remaining faithful to the specialist subject of Fibre Reinforced Plastic, from the common Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) production yachts to high-tech composite construction.

Many clients have become friends and more than a few for whom surveys were carried out on small dinghies or coastal cruisers, have progressed to ocean going sailing and motor yachts, with frequent requests to complete surveys for them throughout Europe and around the world.

Today, the range of surveys still includes the smallest to the largest yachts, both power and sail.
